Industrial Panel PC

An industrial PC is a computer used for industrial purposes, for example, the production of goods and services,  the size of which is between a nettop and a server rack. Rugged desktop PCs have higher dependability and precision standards.

The difference between regular desktop PCs and industrial PCs is the construction. Industrial PCs achieve added ruggedness and durability by design, for which the industrial PC is also called the rugged desktop PC.

An industrial PC is suited to work in a bad environment with a temperature of 45 °C +. The rugged desktop PC is also equipped with filters to enable it to function amidst dirt and dust. Furthermore, it is meant to endure abrupt movements and vibrations.

The computer's CPU (central processing unit, also known as the processor) is the portion of a computer that retrieves and executes instructions. The CPU of a rugged desktop PC is essentially the brain of a CAD system, which consists of an arithmetic and logic unit (ALU), a control unit, and various registers.
